    Kanata-Stittsville

Kanata is the technology hub of Ottawa; most of the larger high-tech employment firms are located in Kanata allowing many people living in Kanata & Stittsville to enjoy a walk or a quick drive on side roads to the office. The area continues a very rapid growth in new housing as has been the case for over thirty years offering a multitude of new housing communities perfect for the growing family and even some great retirement bungalow communities. The section of Hazeldean Road west of Terry Fox Drive to Main Street Stittsville is now lining itself with Home Renovation and big box stores. The area is also home to Scotia Bank Place home of the Ottawa Senators!

    Barrhaven-Longfields

One will find a great family community tucked south of the experimental farm on the west side of the Rideau River. Barrhaven has undergone the largest changes of any of the Ottawa bedroom communities in the past few years. Barrhaven was once a sleepy suburb where residents had to drive to buy anything to a perfect family community with loads of shopping options grocery wise and all the big box stores. A HUGE influence was for the area was the announcement and eventual relocation of the RCMP Headquarters to south Merivale Road. Many members now move from across Canada, abroad and the other suburbs in Ottawa to the Longfields/Barrhaven area just to enjoy the walk or short drive on side roads to the Headquarters.

     Manitock

If you like small town living with all the City amenities just a few kilometers away, Manitock could be your focus area. Returning home to Manoitck from downtown or the west end of Ottawa is a ride down the sides of the Rideau River. Doctor, dentist, pharmacy, fuel and many other products and services are right in hand of just a short drive up into Riverside South or over to South Keys Mall. Houses in Manotik sit on large lots with room to breath and will very quickly cost a buyer well over $500,000.
